From the National CMA:
November 1, 2016
The next president will be in the position to nominate a Supreme Court justice successor for the late Justice Antonin Scalia. He/she will also likely nominate successors for at least two more Supreme Court justices, due to retirements. The United States Senate will then confirm or block these nominees. Because of this, pro-life voters must not only educate themselves on presidential candidate views on pro-life issues, but also must research their states’ Senate candidates’ views on such issues and vote accordingly.
In doing so, pro-lifers across the nation can attempt to maintain enough Senate votes to hopefully confirm pro-life justices. The next Senate will also decide whether to advance specifically pro-life legislation, such as the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act and the Dismemberment Abortion Ban Act. Elections matter, and your vote matters.
