GOAL: To increase knowledge and confidence in the physician’s role with advance directives in end-of-life care.

OBJECTIVES: At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
Understand and name the barriers to obtaining and implementing advanced directives,
Recognize an optimal process and model for developing advanced directives,
Identify the physician’s critical role in implementing an effective process.
